Moorpark Elementary Schools

Depending on where you live throughout Moorpark there are actually 6 different Elementary School options. Keep in mind that all Elementary Schools are now offering Transitional Kindergarten for all four-year-old students whose 5th birthday’s fall between September 2, 2022 and June 2, 2023 for the upcoming school year. • Mountain Meadows: Offering TK – 5th grade. This school has far above average test scores with a student to teacher ratio of 24/1.
• Arroyo West: Offering Tk – 5th grade. Also known as AWALA which standards for Arroyo West Active Learning Academy. Arroyo West has somewhat above average test scores and shows average academic progress. Their student to teacher ratio is 26/1.
• Walnut Canyon: Walnut Canyon is considered a “school of choice” school in that you have to apply to their lottery application process in order to attend. No student is initially guaranteed a spot at Walnut Canyon as it is not a home school to any particular area. Walnut Canyon offers grades TK – 5th grade. Test scores at this school are far above average with a student to teacher ratio of 24/1. A review from one parent states that they appreciate their “comprehensive approach.”
• Peach Hill: Offers TK-5th grade. Peach hills has a 27/1 student to teacher ratio with above average test results.
• Campus Canyon: Offers TK-8th grade making this the largest of the school choices. Campus Canyon has above average test results with a 24/1 student to teacher ratio.
• Flory: Offers TK-5th grade with above average test results and a 26/1 student to teacher ratio.
