The Placerita Canyon Nature Center is a popular place to visit with self-guiding nature, history and hiking. The historic “Oak of the Golden Dream” is the site of California’s original gold discovery. The Sand Canyon Country Club, formerly known as Robinson Ranch Golf Club is open to the public with 27 holes. Sand Canyon is known for its upscale homeson large lots, many of which are equestrian estates.Aliento is a lovely gated community with 5 communities nestled in the hills on 900 acres offering amazing views. Fair Oaks Ranch is another planned community which was developed in the mid-2000s located east of the 14 freeway. Skyline is the newest community near the Plum Canyon area.
